January 30, 2010 - The Businesses of Center City were honored with "Faith in Paterson" Awards as presented by the Greater Paterson Chamber of Commerce. The event which gathered over 300 attendees, the most successful turnout in the Gala's history, was held at the Westmount Country Club in West Paterson.

"These businesses have demonstrated that despite what Wall Street  says about Retail, Main Street Paterson has just received a big boost in the arm with the introduction of the Tenants of Center City" commented Stacey V Tsapatsaris, Director of Leasing and Asset Management for the Mall. "In these ecomonic times, to start a business takes guts … and to start it in a city that lagged in new retail development took faith. This faith has paid off. In January 2009, Center City celebrated its Dome Lighting. One year later, almost to the day we are celebrating our Tenants."

 

Underneath the visible structure are 650+ parking spaces with soaring ceiling heights, clear signage, all within a well lit environment with attendants on hand. In total, both levels of the underground parking garage constitute an area of approximately 5 acres, situated in a non-obstructed rectangle with wide lanes, making it very easy for vehicles to maneuver.

The addition of flat screen media technology promises to keep patrons entertained and informed of upcoming events within the Mall. Working alongside the Paterson Parking Authority, the goal for the Mall Management is to make the parking experience a pleasant one for patrons of the mall and those who frequent for business. As an added convenience, major credit/debit cards are accepted.
